Blizzard has revealed details of the eight Knights of the Frozen Throne missions rolling out over the next several weeks.
The first mission set, which is set to go live today but is not, however, live for all players as of publish time, contains the Rise of the Frozen Knights prologue and The Lower Citadel, featuring "three bosses." The reward for completing the first mission set is a legendary card for the prologue and a card pack for the Lower Citadel.
The second mission set, Battle for Icecrown Citadel: The Upper Reaches, hits August 17, and has three additional bosses. The final mission set, coming a week later on August 24, is Showdown with the Lich King: The Frozen Throne.
All told, Knights of the Frozen Throne has 135 new cards, including Legendary Death Knights Hero Cards, and a new Lifesteal keyword.
Hearthstone's new expansion has been teasing cards like the Archbishop Benedictus card, in the lead-up to going live. Blizzard gave us a detailed idea of what to expect with the the Knights of the Frozen expansion at the beginning of July, including the new Hero card type.
Logging into Hearthstone during the expansion's run gives you a Frostmourne cardback and three free packs. A 50-pack bundle can be pre-purchased for $50.
