This page details the known political alliances and standing armies as of Season 7.
Following the Battle of Winterfell, the northern houses have once again rallied to the Stark banner. Jon Snow has been declared the King in the North, and now commands an army consisting of wildlings led by Tormund Giantsbane, and the forces of House Mormont, House Manderly, House Glover, and House Cerwyn, among others.
Perhaps most importantly, House Arryn of The Eyrie has declared for the Starks, through the regent Petyr Baelish. In the books, it is said the Vale is capable of fielding upwards of 45,000 men. Although of course, Baelish's loyalty to the Stark cause is tenuous at best.
Following the Battle of the Bastards, House Karstark and House Umber, the two northern houses that declared for House Bolton during the War of the Five Kings, were allowed to re-pledge their loyalty to the Starks.
Jon Snow himself has traveled south in the hopes of brokering an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen.
House Lannister, no longer ruling through House Baratheon following the death of King Tommen, has claimed the Iron Throne as its own.
With Kevan Lannister dead, Cersei Lannister has crowned herself Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Due to the very dubious legitimacy of this claim however, it is unknown how many noble houses will eventually answer their call to arms.
So far, the faction of House Greyjoy loyal to Euron Greyjoy has declared for Queen Cersei. Additionally, House Tarly, formerly loyal to House Tyrell, has also pledged their loyalty to the Iron Throne.
House Lannister and the families loyal to them were previously able to field a combined force of nearly 60,000 men during the War of the Five Kings. The Iron Fleet commanded by Euron Greyjoy consists of several hundred vessels.
This fleet has so far attacked both the Greyjoy fleet led by Yara Greyjoy, as well as a Targaryen fleet at Casterly Rock. Both engagements were overwhelming victories for Euron Greyjoy, with the Iron Fleet suffering minimal casualties.
The Lannister army however has suffered significant losses. While they won a decisive victory at Highgarden, a significant portion of their army, reinforced by House Tarly, was defeated in an attack led by Daenerys Targaryen herself, alongside her Dothraki warriors and a dragon.
After brokering an alliance with Yara Greyjoy, Daenerys Targaryen has added the best ships of the Iron Fleet to her forces. While the Iron Islands as a whole are still loyal to Euron Greyjoy, this has nevertheless given Daenerys enough ships to carry her soldiers across the Narrow Sea to Westeros.
In total, she can now field a force comprised of 8,000 Unsullied, and an untold number of Dothraki warriors now that she has united them into a single khalasar (for reference, Khal Drogo's alone had 40,000 fighters).
She also commanded an additional 2,000 Second Sons, although it is likely these men stayed behind in Meereen with Daario Naharis.
Under the leadership of Ellaria Sand, who usurped the throne from House Martell, Dorne has also declared for Queen Daenerys. While the Dornish military has not been explicitly referenced in the show, in the books Dorne can field a force of roughly the same size as the Vale's army. However, following the capture of Ellaria Sand by Euron Greyjoy, it is unknown who has taken control of Dorne, if anyone.
In the Reach, Olenna Tyrell has pledged House Tyrell's support to Daenerys as well, adding a significant army and navy to her forces. In the books, during the War of the Five Kings, House Tyrell was able to field an army of around 100,000 soldiers, although this force was fractured following the death of Renly Baratheon. During the alliance between House Tyrell and House Lannister, House Tyrell provided as many as 70,000 soldiers in the continuing defense of King's landing.
During Daenerys Targaryen's invasion of Westeros however, Highgarden was sacked by an army of Lannister and Tarly forces, and Olenna Tyrell died in the aftermath. The battle was a decisive victory for the Lannister-Tarly army, and it is currently unknown how much of the Tyrell army was involved, where the remaining forces are, and who commands them.
Finally, Daenerys of course controls three dragons, the same number Aegon Targaryen had when he conquered Westeros, uniting the Seven Kingdoms under the rule of the Iron Throne.
