For Honor: Every Highlander and Gladiator Execution and Emote

They may take our lives, but they'll never take... our freedom.

The third season of For Honor, dubbed Grudge and Glory, hits PC and Consoles on August 15.

In addition to kicking off Season 3 of the persistent faction war, Grudge and Glory will be the biggest biggest season For Honor has ever done. Starting with a pair of new heroes – The Vikings Highlander and the Knights Gladiator – the patch also adds two new maps with deadly hazards, a new Legendary gear rating, and new ranking modes to cut your teeth on – along with your enemies.

The new heroes are available on patch day for season pass holders, and available for players without the season pass one week later – which is August 22, for those keeping score. But before you can get your hands on the Gladiator and Highlander you can see every execution and emote these warriors are bringing to to the battlefield.

The Gladiator (Knights' Assassin Hero)
The Highlander (Vikings' Hybrid Hero)

Of the two new maps, the first is called The Sentinel. It's a medieval battleground with one massive tower still remaining, complete with a ballista so you can shoot enemy players if you're not interested in, you know, fighting them. The second map, Viking Village, is a frosty area home to the Vikings complete with a spike trap that rolls over enemies.

The new rarity system will give veteran players a chance at new gear with new visuals and statistics, but also shorten the progression for new players so they can get up to speed faster and into the fight.

In addition, the team has added new competitive and ranking modes, and tweaked the UI, along with existing maps, for overall quality of life improvements in the game. The team's goal is to breath new life into the game and demonstrate their long-term support to For Honor in the coming months and years.

If you haven't yet checked out For Honor, we called it a great multiplayer battler with a deceptively deep melee system in our IGN For Honor Review.
