Destiny 2 Director to Deliver PAX 2017 Opening Keynote

Plus, panels from Gearbox, CD Projekt RED, and more.

Luke Smith, the director on Bungie's upcoming Destiny sequel, will deliver the opening keynote at PAX West 2017.

Before working on Destiny 2, Smith served as the creative director on Destiny: The Taken King, and was the lead designer for Destiny's raids. The panel lineup for PAX 2017 has also been revealed, and features a number of studios, including Gearbox Software, Monolith Soft and CD Projekt RED. You can check out the full lineup here.

PAX West 2017 kicks off on September 1 and concludes on September 4. Tickets for this year's Seattle-based expo, which went on sale back in June, are completely sold out.
