Nintendo has released a new update for Arms that brings with it a handful of changes and a few small additions.
As detailed on Nintendo's support site, update 2.1 features balance adjustments for Arms' roster of playable characters, as well as their weapons. For example, Master Mummy's dash speed and movement speed while jumping have been increased, and the Homie has been tweaked to cause more rush damage.
In addition to rebalancing the roster, the update adds five new exercises to "Training" and indicators designating the difficulty. Adjustments to the rush gauge and fighter hitbox sizes, as well as added instructions at the start of a 3-4 player battle are also featured in the update. The full list of changes, including how each fighter and weapons has been rebalanced can be found here.
Since its launch in June, Arms has performed well for a new IP, selling 1.18 million units in its first couple weeks. For our thoughts on the Switch-exclusive fighting game, check out IGN's Arms review. While you're at it, head over to our Arms wiki guide for a bunch of helpful tips and tricks.
