Pokemon the Series: Sun & Moon will debut in the United States on Disney XD next month, The Pokemon Company has announced.
According to a post on the official Pokemon website, the first two episodes of the new season of the long-running anime series will air in the evening on Friday, May 12. The third episode will debut the following morning on Saturday, May 13, which will be followed by a "special presentation" of Pokemon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, which debuted on the channel in December.
Last year, Disney XD signed a multi-year distribution deal to air Pokemon the Series: Sun & Moon, all 19 prior seasons and the over a dozen animated movies. The series debuted in Japan this past November to coincide with the launch of Pokemon Sun and Moon. The first two episodes of the new Sun and Moon anime, dubbed in English, are now available to watch online on Pokemon TV.
