Bethesda stresses the art was only for fun.
Today marks the launch of Nintendo's highly sought after SNES Classic, and Bethesda has decided to take its celebration the extra mile, tweeting a mock SNES box art for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The box art, which you can see above, features the Dovakhiin bravely facing an elder dragon, clad in a retro Dungeons and Dragons-esque art style befitting a 90s western RPG. Bethesda even went as far as to use its classic "Bethesda Softworks" logo.
In a follow up tweet Bethesda stressed that this was simply for fun.
Bethesda also used the chance to remind everyone its beloved RPG will be releasing on Switch November 17th.
