New Cast Members Revealed for Avatar Sequels

Avatar 2 hits theaters in 2020.

20th Century Fox has revealed seven young new cast members who'll be joining the upcoming Avatar sequels.

The sequels will see three new members added to the Sully family, with Jamie Flatters playing Jake and Neytiri's first born son Neteyam (neh-tay'-ahm) and Britain Dalton portraying second born son Lo'ak (loh' ahk). Trinity Bliss will play the youngest member of the family, Tuktirey: (took-tee'-ray).

The Metkayina Clan will also have three new members. Bailey Bass will portray Tsireya (see-ray'-ah), or "Reya," the young Neytiri of the ocean who's a graceful and strong free-diver. Filip Geljo has been cast as the young male hunter/free-diver son of the Metkayina Clan, Aonung (aw-nung'). Meanwhile, Duane Evans Jr. will play Rotxo (row'-txoh), the second new male hunter/free-diver of the Metkayina clan.

Finally, Jack Champion will portray Javier "Spider" Socorro, a human teenager who was born at Hell's Gate but prefers spending time in the Pandoran rainforest.

Production recently began on all four Avatar sequels on September 25, with Avatar 2 hitting theaters on December 18, 2020. Stephen Lang will reprise his role as the main villain Colonel Quaritch throughout the sequels and most of the cast will consist of familiar faces.

Avatar director James Cameron is also in talks to reboot the Terminator franchise.
