If you're playing Destiny 2 on PlayStation 4, and you've suffered at the hands of the dreaded Error CE-34878-0, Bungie wants you to know its working with Sony to get to the bottom of it.
The problem affects players entering the Tower, but also arises during "general gameplay," according to Bungie. For the time being, Bungie advises players to follow @BungieHelp and @AskPlayStation on Twitter for more up-to-the-minute announcements.
Those unlucky enough to run into the error experience a total system crash. Bungie has known about the issue and officially acknowledged the Destiny 2 crash issue on its official forums.
Bungie previously advised players to turn off the HDCP settings on their PS4 consoles, as some had reported luck diminishing the frequency of the crashes.
Currently Destiny 2 is in the midst of its Faction Rally event, scheduled to run through October 3 for players who are at least level 20 and have completed the main campaign.
