- Gamestop (confirmed every store will have limited inventory)
- Target (I've called and every store near me will have "plenty" in stock)
- Toys R Us (no preorders, so hopefully they have massive stock)
- Best Buy (read Best Buy's official distribution strategy here)
- Thinkgeek (confirmed bundle-less SNES Classics will be stocked)

Stop using guest checkout. Create store accounts beforehand. I've seen this happen too many times. People complain because they add an SNES to cart, enter their shipping and payment info, and by the time they reach final checkout, the SNES is gone. If you set up an account with the store beforehand, you could have all your shipping and payment info filled out ahead of time. It takes me less than 10 seconds to check out an item via Amazon. If you're worried about having your information saved online, remove it AFTER you secure your SNES order. Start hunting online at 9pm PST / 12 midnight EST For U.S. east coast resident, this timing makes sense. For everyone else, keep in mind that store updates usually happen simultaneously across the US. That means IF the SNES goes up at midnight, it will most likely either be 12 midnight EST or 12 midnight PST. Whatever your guess might be, it's better to be safe than sorry and check at the earlier time. Help a friend out, but you're always numero uno If you happen to see the SNES in stock and you have a number of friends who also want one, be a good samaritan and secure copies for your buddies. In my opinion, it's not scalping if you're not intending to buy multiples for resale. But before you do that, make sure you order ONLY ONE for yourself. During the preorder phase, Amazon cancelled all orders that involved multiple SNES purchases. You could buy 5 with good intentions, but the vendor won't know and won't care. Just in case this happens again, make sure you buy a single SNES on a separate order first. Go to your nearest store and bring your phone with you In this day and age, buying online and buying in-store are not mutually exclusive. Bring your phone with you so you can keep up to date with online stock updates while you're hoofing it to the nearest store. Driving? Bring your significant other, a friend, or your parent to browse for you. We've got plenty to talk about. Check out our other SNES-related articles.
