Frozen 2 was announced back in March of 2015, following the incredible success of the first film, which was released to much critical acclaim in 2013. Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, as well as producer Peter Del Vechoare, are all returning from the original to work on the sequel.

The CG-animated sequel will be released in theaters on November 27, 2019. Before then, fans can revisit Disney's wintery fantasy world when Olaf's Frozen Adventure, a 21-minute holiday special that features the voice of Gad as Olaf, Kristen Bell as Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and Idina Menzel as Elsa, opens in front of Pixar Animation's Coco on November 22, 2017.
