Blizzard Launches Battle.net App for iOS and Android


New mobile app brings chat and the ability to accept or reject friend requests to your phone.

Blizzard has launched a Battle.net companion app for iOS and Android. The mobile app brings social features previously only on the desktop component of Battle.net to your smartphone and was announced in a blog post on the Blizzard news site,

The app makes it easy to send and receive friends requests while on the go, and incorporates QR code scanning to make the process even simpler. It also has mobile chat, which is useful for discussing strategies and organising matches with friends, plus you can who's online and what they're playing at any time.

The app is available now on the App Store and Google Play Store
