The first poster for Thor: Ragnarok has popped up, and it's as colourful as we could have hoped for.
Released alongside the film's first trailer, director Taika Waititi tweeted out a poster featuring Chris Hemsworth's new look, plus a little dig at the colour palettes of his rival blockbusters:

The poster doesn't give much away that the trailer didn't, but gives us another look at the Grandmaster's Sakaar-set gladiatorial arena, and the fact that Thor will finally be wearing a winged helmet again. One thing - are those runes shaved into Thor's new hair?
We're beginning to find out more and more about Thor's third (sort-of) solo movie. For instance, why Jane Foster won't be appearing, how Cate Blanchett's goddess of death approaches killing people, and the fact that Jeff Goldblum can make literally anything - even gold lamé pyjamas - look cool.
We're in a busy period for Marvel drops right now - we'd only just gotten over the delights of the new Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, and that film's three new posters.
Thor: Ragnarok will arrive in the US on November 3, but we've got Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming to come first.
