CI Games has announced that its newest title, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will launch without any of the planned multiplayer aspects.
In a statement to Eurogamer, the studio explains that this decision was made so as "not to dilute any potential from the single player experience."
Today marks both the review embargo and day of release for the game, and CI Games has not mentioned previously that multiplayer would not be available at launch.
"We have chosen to release the multiplayer update (that will be free for our players) after launch (the third quarter of 2017)," continues CI' statement.
This delay on the multiplayer portion of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 comes after multiple pushbacks for the title's full release.
