Final Fantasy XV DLC for First Non-Party Character Teased

Add-on content for one of Final Fantasy XV's most important side characters has been teased.

In an interview with Game Legends, game director Hajime Tabata was asked if Square Enix has any plans to make a DLC episode about Ardyn Izunia and his mysterious past, and Tabata confirmed that story content for the character is indeed in the works.

"Yes, we do have some plans on that," Tabata said. "Please look forward to it."

However, Tabata didn't provide any further information about the potential DLC episode, like when it might release. Square Enix recently released its first Final Fantasy XV add-on story content, which focuses on one of the game's four main characters, Gladio. Titled Episode Gladiolus, the episode features the classic Final Fantasy villain, Gilgamesh.

DLC packs starring a playable Prompto and Ignis are also on the way, with a co-op multiplayer expansion to follow.
