Resident Evil Immersive Experience Launches in Asia

Embark on the road to Raccoon City.

Ahead of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter's release, Sony is bringing an immersive tie-in experience to Asia this week.

According to Variety, the experience, dubbed "The Road to Raccoon City," serves as a complement to the upcoming film, featuring content from the movie, complete with voice work from Alice actress Milla Jovovich.

It also features haptic technology to simulate a zombie attack, as users wear a vest that provides vibration and audio feedback while they shoot at zombies projected on-screen.

"The Road to Raccoon City" launches this week and runs from December 6 to December 8 at the CineAsia exhibitors and distributors convention in Hong Kong. An announcement regarding other tour locations will be made at some point in the future.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and opens in theaters on December 23 in Japan, January 26 in Hong Kong, and January 27 in North America.
