Resident Evil 7 Demo Coming to PC, Xbox One This Month


Final update for PS4 demo now available.

Xbox One and PC owners will soon have a chance to try out Resident Evil 7, as Capcom has announced a demo for both platforms will be available later this month.

According to the publisher's announcement, the demo will launch for Xbox One on December 9. Meanwhile, those on PC will be able to check out the demo starting December 19.

The Xbox One and PC versions will be the fully-updated "Midnight" edition of the Beginning Hour demo that's been available on PS4 in one form or another since E3 this year. The PC version will also the PC version offer an array of new settings and graphics options.

In addition, Capcom confirmed that "Midnight," is now available on PS4, PS4 Pro and PSVR. The update sheds light on more of the mysteries hidden in the demo, allowing players to finally "explore what lies beyond the mold-covered door, where terrifying growling noises emanate from."

In addition to supporting the optional PSVR mode, the updated demo includes 4K support for PS4 Pro users and HDR for all PS4 owners will supported televisions.
