A new TV spot for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story released recently, and it might contain an Easter egg that would connect the film to Star Wars Rebels.
The TV spot is only around 15 seconds long, but at the :07 second mark there's a very brief shot of several space ships. As ComingSoon points out, there's speculation that one of these ships is Ghost from the Rebels TV show. Both ships have similar physical features and builds.
In Rebels, Ghost is piloted by Hera Syndulla, a gifted pilot and leader, and the ship serves as the home base of a small band of Lothal Rebels. However, there's no clue as to how big this connection could be, and what's its significance exactly.
Rogue One hits theaters December 16. Star Wars Rebels airs Fridays on Disney XD.
