Pokemon Sun/Moon's First Mythical Giveaway Has Begun

QR code now live for those in the US.

The first mythical Pokemon giveaway for Pokemon Sun and Moon has begun, as the QR code to access Magearna is now live for those in the United States.

This is the first mythical Pokemon giveaway event to make use of Pokemon Sun and Moon's QR scanner feature. Below is the QR code to unlock Magearna in the United States, courtesy of the official Pokemon website.

Meanwhile, the code for those in Europe has yet to be released, but is expected to be available at some point later today. The QR code is region-specific, so you'll have to wait until its live in your region before getting access. The code for those in Japan was given away earlier this year as a bonus for seeing the new Pokemon movie, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel.

In order to acquire Magearna in your game, you'll first need the QR Scanner in Pokemon Sun and Moon, which requires you to first complete main game.
