Next week, two final teams will compete to take home the title of the first ever League of Legends City Champs champions.
The championship is down to four teams from four cities, with the two best competing on Tuesday, December 6. Currently teams representing Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Dallas are in the running for the final showdown.
The City Champs championship is "developed and produced" by Super League Gaming and features amateur League of Legends players from their respective cities.
The Los Angeles Shockwaves, Chicago Force, Miami Menace and Dallas Dynamite are comprised of players who made their team on the local level and are now competing for national glory.
Full details on the team selection process and how the championship tournament is played can be found on the Super League Gaming site.
Recently Amazon announced its own $100,000 eSports tournament, taking place in Las Vegas December 2 and featuring streamers and other gaming personalities.
