Logan: Grant's Villain Role in Wolverine Finale Revealed

"Rice. Logan. 3.3.17."

Richard E. Grant's will officially play Dr. Zander Rice in the final Wolverine movie.

Logan star Hugh Jackman revealed the character today on Twitter, posting a photo of Grant with the caption "Rice. Logan. 3.3.17." Dr. Rice was one of the key scientists involved in creating the female Wolverine clone X-23, who'll be played in Logan by Dafne Keen.

Grant joined the film back in April as a "mad scientist," and while some speculated that scientist was Dr. Rice, it wasn't made official until today.

Spoilers for Logan follow.

Grant's character won't be Logan's sole villain, as Narcos' Boyd Holbrook was previously cast as the film's "big bad."

Holbrook will play Donald Pierce, a cyborg who served as both the White Bishop and the White King of The Hellfire Club.

Logan is currently slated for a March 3, 2017 release.

While you wait, check out what Logan director James Mangold had to say about making a more "human" Wolverine film.
