A sequel to Tango Gameworks' horror game The Evil Within may be on the way, as a reportedly leaked job listing indicates that a followup is in production.
The seemingly internal listing comes by way of NeoGAF user Dusk Golem. According to a translation of the job description, the position is for QA and translation for Psycho Break 2—Psycho Break being the Japanese title for The Evil Within. The targeted hardware listed for the alleged sequel is PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Last year, Bethesda's Pete Hines spoke to the possibility of a sequel to The Evil Within. While he refrained from confirming whether or not a follow-up was in the works, he said he thought "both The Evil Within and Rage did well enough that we could make sequels." The Evil Within 2 was rumored to be announced last year at E3, but the publisher has yet to officially confirm its existence.
The Evil Within launched in 2014 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Read IGN's The Evil Within review to find out why we found it to be "a brutal, challenging, and remarkably fun game."
