Ahead of The Dark Tower's release this July, Stephen King has unveiled a new poster for the upcoming film adaptation.
King revealed the poster on Twitter, which was accompanied by the message: "Pilgrim, there are other worlds than these. Come with us on the adventure."
Nikolaj Arcel is directing The Dark Tower, which won't be a straight adaptation of King's beloved series of books. The film, which stars Idris Elba as Roland Deschain and Matthew McConaughey as Walter Padick, will instead serve as more a sequel than a retelling of the author's original work.
The Dark Tower opens in theaters on July 28, 2017. The movie was initially set debut in February but was pushed back several months to provide more time to work on the film's visual effects.
