Mass Effect: Andromeda: BioWare 'Evaluating Options' for Improvements

"No promises."

BioWare is aware of the issues that have been raised about Mass Effect: Andromeda in the past week or so - primarily facial animations and character creation - and is looking at how it can solve them.

Lead Designer on Mass Effect: Andromeda, Ian S. Frazier, took to Twitter last night to answer some questions from the public.

On the subject of the game's controversial facial animations, Frazier said "we're looking at patching lots of issues and want to strongly support the game moving forward. I can't say more just yet."

He also addressed Andromeda's character creator, the depth of which has been called into question by players. "Can't promise anything yet," said Frazier, "but we're currently evaluating various options for making it better." He also replied to a separate question on the same topic: "No promises, but I've got it on a list of things we're looking at potentially fixing/adding for character creation."

IGN's review of Mass Effect: Andromeda says it's good, yet "isn't quite the shot in the arm the series needed." If you're new to the series and will be starting with Andromeda, here are seven things you need to know before playing.
