First Photos of Returning Twin Peaks Cast

Welcome back to the weird.

Aside from one teaser and one poster that have included Kyle MacLachlan as Agent Dale Cooper, all the promos thus far for the return of Twin Peaks have relied almost completely on footage and imagery from the original run of the series - but we now have our first look at several key returning characters.

EW has debuted three new covers centered on Twin Peaks, featuring series co-creator David Lynch (who also plays Gordon Cole), MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn ("Audrey Horne"), Madchen Amick ("Shelly Johnson"), Dana Ashbrook ("Bobby Briggs"), James Marshall ("James Hurley"), Peggy Lipton ("Norma Jennings"), Everett McGill ("Ed Hurley"), Wendy Robie ("Nadine Hurley"), and Sheryl Lee ("Laura Palmer"). \

EW has several more photos you can check out of the cast in the series, though we had to include the one of David Duchovny, who's reprising his role as DEA agent Denise Bryson - a character he originated on Twin Peaks before he'd go on to become a star playing an FBI agent who also investigated some strange occurrences...
