Watch Dogs 2 DLC Delayed Due to Multiplayer Patches

Now releasing on December 22.

The T-Bone Content Bundle for Watch Dogs 2 will now launch on December 22 (December 26 in Japan) for PS4 and January 24 for Xbox One and PC, Ubisoft has announced.

The first round of DLC was originally set to launch on December 13 for PlayStation 4, but has been pushed back due to "additional development resources" needed to stabilize the game's "seamless multiplayer functionality" and "other core online features," according to a post on Ubisoft's official site.

Title update 1.06 was recently released for Watch Dogs 2, along with other previous patches, to help fix seamless multiplayer features that were disabled a day before Watch Dogs 2's launch.

The T-Bone Content Bundle, which was detailed in November, brings a new Mayhem co-op challenge as well as T-Bone's attire and his modified school bus, equipped with a bulldozer blade. Ubisoft will also be running The T-Bone Chaos Event, a free four week event that will bring challenges and give in-game currency and items like unique car skins starting the week of December 19.

Last month, Ubisoft commented on Watch Dogs 2's "comparatively lower" launch sales. For more on the open-world action game, be sure to check out IGN's Watch Dogs 2 review.
