See Final Fantasy XV's Photobomb Easter Egg

This page documents several Easter Eggs and secrets found in Final Fantasy XV.

After meeting the Oracle's messenger, Gentiana - in Chapter 5: Dark Clouds, you may find that at the end of a long day, reviewing Prompto's photos may show a mysterious figure in one of his photos.

As it turns out, Gentiana appears to follow you some times, and will be caught in photos even though you can't see her at the time the photo was taken. This may happen to any photo in any place - whether in battle or exploring, and Gentiana can appear anywhere in the photo. Prompto and his friends will even remark about not seeing her when viewing the photo.

During Chapter 7: Party of Three, you'll run into Aranea at the entrance to some ruins, and she'll be flanked by two guards - one of which you can speak to to wait until night. Speaking to them you'll find their names are Wedge and Biggs - a recurring pair of characters named after Biggs Darklighter and Wedge Antilles from Star Wars: A New Hope. The pair have shown up in many of the Final Fantasy games, with FFXV being their latest appearance, and also appear in later chapters.

Whilst entering Keycatirich Trench (Dungeon) the 4 are talking about this dungeon being a shelter for those escaping the war, Noctis then say's War, what is it good for?

EditIris and the Moogle Surprise

During Chapter 6, you'll gain Iris as a temporary partner when driving down to Cape Caem. You'll actually be able to make several stops - and she'll even follow you into battle and heal the party. If you happen to perform a link-strike or blindside attack and she is nearby, she'll team up by throwing a large stuffed Moogle at the enemy to deal damage!

Located near Longgwythe Peak is a special Sabertusk that is friendly and does not attack you. It stands there day and night. You can take pictures or do cosplay with it.

Standing near the Wiz Chocobo Post are a young man and woman traveling together as a couple. You're occasionally given the opportunity to listen in on their conversations.

At first their discussions are flirtatious and sweet, but keep coming back over the course of several days and their relationship takes a startling and violent turn.

During the mission "The Price is a Pauper" when you near the end of the cave Prompto will be separated from the group briefly and when you reunite with him he will shout the classic Indiana Jones line "Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?"
