Scott Snyder spent five years writing Batman, and Jeff Lemire is a writer and artist who has worked on the likes of Wolverine, Hawkeye, and Sweet Tooth.

A.D.: After Death is a three-issue series set in the future where death has been cured, but focuses on a man who begins to question everything and who becomes frustrated with immortality.

IGN's review of the first issue says it "delivers exactly the sort of terrific storytelling we'd expect from a creative team of this caliber."
