With two big "WrestleMania worthy" main events -- first time matches Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar and John Cena vs. Roman Reigns -- No Mercy is looking to seriously shake things up during WWE's down season, giving us bouts that one would usually expect to see at a "Big Four" PPV.
Also on the card: The Miz will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Jason Jordan, Alexa Bliss will try to escape with her title after facing most of the RAW Women's roster, Finn Balor is out to defeat Bray Wyatt without any help from his "Demon," and tag team champs Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will take on former champs Sheamus and Cesaro.
The time for talking's done. The time for cracking skulls is now. Join me here for all the No Mercy madness. Bookmark the page and check back all through the night as I post match results along with my in-the-moment opinions. I'll also be live-tweeting over at @TheMattFowler.
Nothing spectacular, but I dig the hell out of Elias and love how they're building him slow and keeping him down at the bottom of the card so that he can keep winning. It's rare that an NXT gimmick as ornamented and goofy as his succeeds on the main roster so I'm glad they're letting him simmer instead of setting him up to fail with a losing streak right out of the gate.
The only bummer is that I also dig Titus Worldwide and it looks like that angle reached its apex back with Tozawa's brief Cruiserweight title reign. "The Drifter" (which I'll never stop calling him) won with the Drift Away.
Winner: Elias
