For the first time in the WWE 2K series' history, WWE 2K18 will be released on PC at the same time it is being released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The latest game in the popular pro wrestling series will be available on Steam, and at other PC game retailers, starting October 17.
Both the standard and deluxe editions of the game will be available on that date. However, PC games will not have the ability to take advantage of the Early Access Deluxe Edition perk. That being said, if you preorder either version of the game, you will receive two versions of Kurt Angle as a playable character. Additionally, those who buy the standard version of the game will be given the opportunity to download extra content in an a la carte fashion.
WWE 2K18, which features Seth Rollins as its cover athlete, marks the first time in five years a WWE game has been released on a Nintendo platform, set to debut on the Switch. It's also the first WWE 2K game not to be released on the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360. Furthermore, once again WWE 2K18 will have the largest roster of wrestlers at long in series history.
