Justice League: Iris West Reportedly Cut

But she's still on board for Flashpoint.

Latest reports suggest that Iris West, the long-time love interest of Barry Allen (aka the Flash), will no longer make her cinematic debut in this year's Justice League.

According to Batman News, all of Kiersey Clemons' scenes as Iris West have reportedly been cut. Earlier this year, Clemons confirmed she was not involved in the recent reshoots, but said her introductory scenes as Iris are "sick."

It's important to note that this isn't the end for the DCEU incarnation of Iris, as Clemons is still signed on to appear in The Flash: Flashpoint in 2018.

Batman News also goes on to say that, despite previously confirming his involvement, Jesse Eisenberg doesn't appear as Lex Luthor in the version of the movie that is currently testing with audiences. Whether he appears in the final version or not will likely depend on the audience's reaction to his absence.

There's been a lot of change behind the scenes on Justice League following Zack Snyder's exit due to a family tragedy. Joss Whedon's last-minute reshoots have earned him a screenplay credit, and Snyder recently confirmed he's chosen to "keep his distance" from the film as it nears completion.

Justice League opens in theatres on November 17. For more on the film, read about Batman and Wonder Woman's dynamic in the movie, as well as Ben Affleck's comments on Justice League's status as an "interesting product of two directors."
