Grow Home, Grow Up Team Announces New FPS

Available September 19 on Steam.

The next game from Reflections, the Ubisoft incubator team behind Grow Home and Grow Up, is an online first-person shooter called Atomega.

Announced by Ubisoft, the game will be available for download via Steam on September 19. Like Grow Home and Grow Up, Atomega sports a distinct colorful art style and has players grow their Exoforms from small spheres to towering robots. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Players will be participating in 10-minute online firefights of up to eight players all the while attempting to collect mass, which is vital to evolving your Exoform. Players can of course lose mass in firefights. But the player who scores the most points by collecting the most mass at the end of each round will come out victorious.

Atomega promises to be a "relentlessly competitive experience, an easy to pick-up but hard to master game."

Another mass-focused shooter was recently announced as coming to the Nintendo Switch — Morphies Law.
