What's Next for Kong and Godzilla?

Godzilla, Kong, Mothra, King Ghidorah, and more. Here's a look at Legendary's MonsterVerse.

Following the box office success of Kong: Skull Island, it's probably a good time to take a look at what Legendary and Warner Bros. have in store for us on the big screen, monster-wise.

With 2014's Godzilla as the starting point, and Godzilla and Kong set to clash in 2020, the MonsterVerse is officially underway, and while there are only a couple of films announced so far, there's a ton of monsters to play around with if the intention is to truly build up a new killer Kaiju collection. Yes, the MonsterVerse is officially combining, in reboot form, the former Godzilla and King Kong franchises.

Here, in the slideshow below, we'll look at what films are actually scheduled, so far, to hit multiplexes, along with some notable MonsterVerse monsters that could either be featured in, or even headline, a future project. Check out the slides below and explore the MonsterVerse...

Spoilers follow for the Kong: Skull Island end credits scene...

Irresistible forces are about to collide with immovable objects as Godzilla and Kong aren't the only two giant beasts to roam our savage landscapes. Some of these colossal creatures have wings, others have more than one head, but all of them want to be known as the biggest and the baddest of the bunch. Godzilla, Kong, Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, and more are all coming soon to the Legendary MonsterVerse!
