Square Enix Shows Off Final Fantasy XV PC Tech Test

Is a PC port in the works?

At GDC 2017, Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata went into more detail on the game's development.

He unveiled a video showing the game captured on Nvidia's latest GTX 1080 Ti is Nvidia's graphics card, and its power looks set to exceed the insanely expensive Titan X.

The tech demo shows off various environments from the game with various additions to show off the lighting, and there are some interesting other changes, like a monster truck version of the Regalia car.

Of course, there is currently no PC version of Final Fantasy XV, but Tabata has previously expressed the desire to bring it to the platform. There are currently no plans for a Nintendo Switch version, however.

Final Fantasy XV released at the end of November last year, and IGN's review says it is "never compromising in either scale or detail," and that it's "constantly and thoroughly beautiful." The game's controversial Chapter 13 update is scheduled for later this month.
