Sniper Elite 4's First DLC Pack Out Next Week

More grapefruit-shooting action arrives next week.

Some fresh Sniper Elite 4 content is coming next week.

First up is a new mini-campaign Deathstorm, which feature a new storyline set after the events of Sniper Elite 4. This add-on can be played single-player or with a friend.

“The Alsos Mission, an offshoot of the United States-led Manhattan Project famous for its research and development of nuclear weapons, needs Karl Fairburne to intercept a critical package the Nazis are bringing into the country,” writes Rebellion’s Tim Jones.

“In Part 1: Inception, Karl must infiltrate the Rocca sul Mare naval base in the chillier climes of northern Italy, targeted in a recent bombing run yet still under tremendous Nazi guard. Somewhere in this sprawling stronghold is the package codenamed ‘Deathstorm.’”

Deathstorm can be purchased individually or as part of the game’s season pass.

Also coming next week is the first wave of free content, which includes an additional multiplayer mode, Elimination, and a new map, Night Woods.

In Elimination, 12 players spread over two teams battle until the opposing team is, as the name suggests, eliminated. Once killed the player spectates for a time until a member of the opposing team is killed. When that happens, the player is tagged back in, “So even when it’s six versus one in Elimination, one kill can turn everything upside down!”

Jones goes on to reiterate Rebellion will be dropping more content in the coming months, both free and paid, including the second and third parts of Deathstorm, as well as more maps and multiplayer modes.

In our 8.3 review of Sniper Elite 4, we said it’s “a smart, strategic shooter that empowers you to make your own path.”
