A shot similar to one from Spider-Man 3 appears in a recent TV spot for the Ryan Reynolds sci-fi film, Life.
Reddit user toomuchsoull spotted this clip (below) from Toby Maguire's third Spider-Man flilm and noticed just how identical it looks to a clip used in the Life ad. The only difference between the two shots is one specific mustache-wearing actor, who appears in Spider-Man 3 but is mysteriously absent in Life.
The shots are also from slightly different angles of a street in New York, however the footage appears to be the same given all of the actors featured in in both are wearing the same outfits and are seen in very similar positions. Check out the two shots below.

Toomuchsoull's explanation for how he spotted the connection of what appears to be reused b-roll between the two films? "I used to watch Spider-man 3 a lot as a kid before I realized how terrible it is. Also I have a pretty good memory for small details like that," he wrote on the Reddit thread discussing his discovery.
Life opens in theaters on March 24, 2017 while the next Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, is slated for a July 7, 2017 release.
