Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan has some bad news for those of you waiting for the new hero Orisa.
If you've been eagerly awaiting Orisa's introduction to the live servers after her announcement last week and subsequent addition to the Public Test Realm, you're going to have to wait until the end of March, most likely.
After some rumors about Orisa's live release on the Overwatch forums, Kaplan replied personally, saying that"we're leaving Orisa on the PTR for a little while."
"We're getting great feedback and fixing a lot of issues," Kaplan continued. "I know this feels a little longer than other PTR periods, but we think it will be for the better. We know how anxious you all are to have Orisa join your ranks... and she will soon... but most likely she will go live later in the month rather than this early."
Orisa is a mobile tank who protects her teammates with a protective barrier, and fires at enemies from long range with a gun and graviton charge launcher. Her ultimate ability allows her to supercharge nearby allies.
The hero has already seen a slight nerf on the test realm, and other characters such as Ana, Junkrat, and Sombra will also be seeing some changes in the next patch.
