Michael K. Williams is currently in negotiations to star in Disney and Lucasfilms' upcoming Han Solo movie.
According to Variety, the actor (best known for his role as Omar Little HBO's The Wire) is in "final talks" to film, which stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. In addition to The Wire, Williams appeared in the hit TV series Boardwalk Empire, as well as several recent films, including Ghostbusters and Assassin's Creed.

Details on Williams' role in the Han Solo movie have yet to be revealed.
In addition to Ehrenreich and Glover, Williams joins Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who will play a key CGI character. The film is being directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
