Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Character Posters Released

A set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 character posters have been released, highlighting the new and returning members of the Marvel team.

The images, released by actors in the film and director James Gunn, provide great looks at most of the movie's protagonists, including Rocket Raccoon, Ego, Gamora, Mantis, and Ayesha. Check out all of the posters below.

There's also a new IMAX poster that contains a beautiful purple and blue color palette, with the Guardians crew featured, including Yondu looming large, new villain Ayesha, and a cassette player-carrying Star-Lord. Baby Groot can also be found holding the movie's title sign.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol . 2 opens in theaters on May 5. James Gunn recently shared a few new details about Ego the Living Planet, promising it is the "biggest visual effect of all time" with "nothing even close to it." James Gunn also confirmed the movie will feature a post-credits scene and a third entry in the series is almost definitely happening, with or without Gunn.
