Bungie showcased new gear and revised weapons during its final live stream leading up to Destiny Age of Triumph, the final update coming to the company's online multiplayer shooter.
Earlier in March Bungie teased new Destiny armor sets for Vault of Glass and Crota's End, ad today they finally showed them off. New armor sets will be available for all of the previously released raids. Each set is designed around the specific enemy race found at the raid and include flashy new visual effects, like regenerating armor pieces and other highlights. The Age of Triumph armor set was also shown off and can only be attained via the Treasure of Ages chests detailed last week.
All of the new Raid armor requires tokens acquired from the weekly challenge mode in order to complete the set and switch on armor effects, a similar mechanic introduced in the prior Rise of Iron expansion. You can check out the complete armor sets for each Raid and the Age of Triumph set below.
Bungie detailed how revised Raid weapons can be acquired and what's new about them, The new weapons are now available in Adept and Exotic variants and include updated fan-favorite like Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence, Vex Mythoclast and more. Weapons from the King's Fall and Wrath of the Machine raids have been updated to also have elemental properties.
The weapons sandbox also gets some minor changes in the Age of Triumph update, with small changes coming to hand cannons and assault rifles. Bungie will publish a full set of patch notes Tuesday, March 28 at 10am PT when the Age of Triumphs update drops.
