Destiny 2 Posters Leak

Beta reportedly kicks off in June

Destiny 2 will release this September, according to a pair of leaked posters for the upcoming sequel to Bungie's shared-world shooter.

Images of the poster come by way of Italian outlet Lega Network, and were allegedly leaked by GameStop Italy. In addition to including a September 8 release date along the top, one of the posters also mentions of a forthcoming beta along the bottom.

Eurogamer's sources claim the poster is real and that the beta will kick of in June, with early access exclusive to PlayStation 4 players. Additionally, Kotaku has heard from its sources that a Destiny 2 announcement is coming from Bungie later today.

It's important to note that the indicated September 8 release may only apply to Europe, as it's on a Friday, and games in North America traditionally release on Tuesdays.

Last month, Activision confirmed that the  sequel to Destiny is still on track for a 2017 release.
