Zone of the Enders 2 Remaster With VR Support Announced

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner will be remastered for PS4, with full VR support, for Japanese release in Spring 2018.

Announced at Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference, the game will go by Anubis: Zone of the Enders - Mars (an extension of the game's original Japanese title) in Japan.

The remaster touts enhanced graphics, 4K resolution, new sound design (with surround sound support), "brand new features" (no word on those as yet) and complete VR support, presumably meaning the game can be played that way from start to finish.

When it was re-released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, we called The 2nd Runner "a forgotten classic that holds up unquestionably better than the first game in the series".

We've had no word on a western release at time of writing.
