Next Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibo Get Release Date

Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa’s amiibo functionality revealed.

During a Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo confirmed that the Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa amiibo will launch on November 10.

The amiibo represent the four Champions in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, each of whom is associated with one of the game’s Divine Beasts.

When scanned in Breath of the Wild, each Champion will unlock materials and weapons in-game, as well as headgear representing the Divine Beast they’re connected with -- Vah Rudania for Daruk, Vah Ruta for Mipha, Vah Medoh for Revali, and Vah Neboris for Urbosa.

The Champions amiibo were announced at E3 and will tie into the Champions’ Ballad DLC, which still doesn’t have an exact release date.

Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa join the five previous Breath of the Wild amiibo: the initial set of Rider Link, Archer Link, and Guardian, and the later additions, Zelda and Bokoblin.

Andrew is IGN’s executive editor of news and can barely keep track of how many amiibo are coming anymore. You can find him rambling about Persona and cute animals on Twitter.
