Check out our picks, then head to the comments to let us know what you’ll be buying this week!

Wonder Woman/Conan #1 - $3.99
STL056916

Writer Gail Simone | Artists Aaron Lopresti, Matt Ryan | Cover Artist Darick Robertson (DC Comics with Dark Horse Comics)

With the Wonder Woman movie premiering this year and cleaning up at the box office, there’s little wonder (ha) why DC Comics is putting out more comics featuring the character. DC has been doing some fantastic team-ups featuring characters from different franchises, so it makes sense for the publisher to work with Dark Horse to have Wonder Woman cross paths with that other famous warrior, Conan the Barbarian.

Best of all, it’s written by fan-favorite Wonder Woman writer Gail Simone. She is one of few writers who truly captures the kind, determined and inspirational nature of Wonder Woman whenever she writes her, so it’s a real treat to see her tackle this title. Previously, she co-wrote Conan/Red Sonja with Jim Zub, so she has experience in bringing two icons together and making sparks fly.

Harley Quinn #28 - $3.99
STL054646

Writers Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti | Artist John Timms | Cover Artist Amanda Conner (DC Comics)

Harley Quinn is DC’s analogue to Deadpool, breaking the Fourth Wall like there’s no tomorrow by commenting on things in the real world. With real-life politics being the way they are as of late, it was only a matter of time before Harley got in on the action. This new arc titled “Vote Harley” sees her campaigning to be Mayor of New York City. The real challenge here will be for the creative team to come up with some antics that are so wild and unbelievable that they would never happen in real life. Good luck with that.

Superman #31 - $2.99
STL054699

Writers Peter J. Tomasi, Patrick Gleason | Artists Doug Mahnke, Jaime Mendoza | Cover Artist Ryan Sook (DC Comics)

This charming and exciting Superman series has not only been a great return to form for its title character, but also a wonderful exploration of his family. This new arc is all about Lois Lane taking on a deadly investigation, literally, when she tracks down Deathstroke the Terminator for an interview. We’ve often day-dreamed about getting a Lois Lane comic featuring the world’s best reporter taking on dangerous assignments and fighting evil with journalism, but since that’s not in the cards at the moment, we’re happy to have this new Lois-centric story arc.

Keep reading for Venom, Samurai Jack and more.
