Dynasty Warriors 9 will be launching in early 2018.
Koei Tecmo Europe has revealed the launch window for the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 9 as part of Tokyo Game Show 2017.
The game will be coming in early 2018 and, as revealed last month, will launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Further to the announcement a trailer was released, detailing some of the new features available in the game.
As well as giving a glimpse of the game's Three Kingdoms narrative and a number of new environments, a brand new feature called the State Combo system is introduced.
This feature offers up a whole host of diverse attacks that adapt whilst you play.
Flow Attacks create combos that change depending on the enemy's active position, Reactive Attacks are versatile counter-moves, and Trigger Attacks forcibly change an enemy's state depending on the buttons you press.
Dynasty Warriors 9 looks to be a bold new step in the franchise, as the game is going fully open-world, allowing you to explore China with grappling hooks and free running whilst you tackle the main story.
A new character called Xu Sheng was also revealed, a "charismatic general" of the Wu Kingdom.
