Destiny 2 developer Bungie has revealed that its new shooter had more than 1.2 million concurrent users on September 10.
Thank you all so much for playing, Guardians! Right now Destiny 2 has over 1.2 Million concurrent players online. We'll see you in the wild.

Destiny 2 is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One; it doesn’t hit PC until October 24. Assuming the game doesn’t shed too many players over the coming weeks Destiny 2’s concurrent player could be set to rise even further.
Specific, overall sales numbers for Destiny 2 are yet to be discussed but you can bet it’s considerably more than just the number of people who were playing it simultaneously on September 10.
