Cult of Chucky Will Be Available to Stream on Netflix in October

Out on Blu-ray, DVD and digital starting October 3rd in the US.

Feel like you've been waiting forever to watch Cult of Chucky? Well, wait no more. IGN can exclusively reveal that the latest in the Child's Play series will be available to stream on Netflix (in the United States) starting this October.

Cult of Chucky: Child's Play 7 is just the latest of Netflix's new crop of movies and TV shows that will be added to the streaming service in October. IGN keeps you up-to-date every month with the latest in what's new to Netflix and what's leaving Netflix. For the full list, make sure to also subscribe to Netflix's monthly newsletter announcing the site's new arrivals -- and do it soon, because the next newsletter is going out on Wednesday, September 20th!

Cult of Chucky follows Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif), introduced in the last film, Curse of Chucky, who's been confined to an insane asylum for the past four years and still believes that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. However, several grisly murders start to suddenly plague the asylum once Nica's psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic tool for his patients, a certain smiling Good Guy doll.

In order to escape, Nina will have to get help from Chucky's arch rival Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent, reprising his role from the first two Child's Play films), and go past Chucky's bride Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly, introduced to the series in the fourth installment, 1998's Bride of Chucky). Brad Dourif will again voice Chucky, having played the character since the first Child's Play in 1988.

The latest in the Child's Play series hits Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On Demand on October 3 in the US and October 23 in the UK.
