Adorable Cartoon Cat Collecting Sim Coming to PSVR in 2018

The cutest mobile game will get a VR experience next year.

During Sony’s conference at Tokyo Game Show today, cat collecting sim Neko Atsume was confirmed as a VR experience coming to PlayStation VR in 2018.

Not many details were announced, but a logo was shown during the conference and PlayStation confirmed on Twitter that developer Hit Point is involved.

Neko Atsume came to iOS and Android in 2014 and launched in English in 2015. The game allows you to leave food for cats who will come to your home and leave you presents. It features cartoon-style art and various special cats themed after baseball players, police officers, butlers, ninjas, and many more.

Earlier this year, Hit Point released a live-action movie adaptation of Neko Atsume, which is due to come to DVD and Blu-Ray in Japan next month.

Andrew is IGN’s executive editor of news and has somehow collected every single cat and memento in Neko Atsume on iPhone. He will probably cry when he gets to play it in VR. You can find him rambling about Persona and cute animals on Twitter.
