The League of Legends MSIs didn't involve any Aussie teams by the finals stage — the Dire Wolves dropped out of the Brazilian tournament in the play-in stages despite a good showing against home team the RED Canids. On day two the World Champions SKT faced off against Flash Wolves and beat them in a straight set. On day two Chinese juggernauts Team WE fell to the European team G2 Esports in a 3 - 1 showdown. The Finals saw G2 take on SKT in a barnstorming battle as the European team pushed SKT to dig deep. SKT did, however, and they won the best of 5 3 - 1. Watch Game 2, where G2 managed to take a game off the South Korean GOATs, below.

Combo Breaker 2017 - Injustice 2
Injustice 2 had its own share of high octane matches as players showed that, despite the game being new, they were already getting to grips with it. Watch the nail biting finish below.
ESL ANZ Overwatch Championship Season 1 Finals
In the Overwatch Season 1 Finals, four teams battled out to be named Australia and New Zealand's first Overwatch ESL Champions. Athletico CAMO, Plot 1, 4Legs and Masterminds GC (who replaced Blank Esports) went head to head in a best of five double elimination tournament. The Grand Finals saw Athletico CAMO and 4Legs duke it out. 4Legs, who had been knocked down to the Losers' Bracket by Athletico already, won the first Grand Final and forced a second. The fairy tale comeback was not on, however, as Athletico managed to win the second Grand Final in a knockdown, dragout match that went to Overtime in Game 5. Watch those final moments embedded below.
Overwatch Pacific Championship Week 8
In Week 8 of the OPC, Blank Esports took on Japanese team DeToNator.GOLD and won in a straight 3 - 0.
