Chicken Nugget Fan Now Has the Most Retweets Ever

"A man needs his nuggs."

Nevada teenager Carter Wilkerson just wanted some chicken nuggets. In the process, he ended up with the most retweets ever on Twitter.

The official Wendy's Twitter account announced that Wilkerson posted "the most retweeted tweet of all-time." Back on April 5, he screen-capped a conversation he had with Wendy's on social media and asked for retweeting help on Twitter to get a year's worth of chicken nuggets.

Now, just over a month later, Wilkerson has received his reward, even though he didn't technically hit the 18 million retweet milestone — it's currently topping 3.47 million retweets. But Wilkerson did break the Twitter record previously held by Ellen DeGeneres for her Oscars selfie.

So there apparently is something people love more than Hollywood celebrities. And that's chicken nuggets and a teen's pursuit for free fast food.
